Casa alle Vacche
a family farm in the heart of Tuscany

Tradition, passion, and Tuscan hospitality for generations, among vineyards, olive groves, and authentic stories.

A name that tells the past

Casa alle Vacche

In the heart of the Tuscan hills, a few kilometers from San Gimignano, lies Casa alle Vacche: an intriguing name that has its roots in the true history of the place. In the 19th century, the oldest building of the estate was a stable for working cows, used for pulling carts and working in the fields. Today, that past lives on in the vaulted ceiling with exposed bricks, a symbol of the rural authenticity and simplicity that still guide our work.

A family, a passion

For generations, the Ciappi family has lovingly cultivated the land and preserved the knowledge of “Tuscan agriculture. Today, grandfather Silvano proudly watches his sons, Fernando and Lorenzo, carry on the” business with the same dedication as before.

Over the years, work in the vineyards and olive groves has been enriched with the establishment of the “agriturismo and the restaurant, creating a” complete experience for those who wish to discover the most authentic Tuscany.

Wine is the liquid sensitive to joy.

From earth to table, every gesture tells who we are

Our Philosophy

Those who come to us are not just guests: they're part of an ongoing story, told daily through wine, oil, tradition, and family warmth.

Each row of vines holds our family’s history and the voice of the land that hosts us. At Casa alle Vacche, producing wine means respecting nature’s rhythms, selecting only the best grapes, and vinifying with artisanal care. It’s work that combines memory, technique, and sensitivity.
We believe in sustainable viticulture in harmony with the “environment: that’s why we’ve chosen integrated farming practices and are converting the” entire estate to organic.

But our philosophy goes beyond wine.

Welcoming those who come from afar is a “natural extension of who we are. H” ospitality is part of our DNA.
With the establishment of the “agriturismo and restaurant, we’ve opened our home’s doors to share” Tuscany’s authenticity: the aromas of our dishes, the tranquility of the hills, the simple beauty of genuine things.

Hospitality that comes from the heart
